Our Mission​

The Fantastic Experimental Latino Theater (FELT Inc.) is dedicated to cultivating artistic and cultural awareness among Latinos in New York City. Through bold, multimedia productions, we engage diverse, intergenerational audiences that reflect the richness of our nation’s cultural fabric. We champion original works by emerging and established playwrights and filmmakers, with a strong emphasis on uplifting women’s voices.

FELT has produced over 35 powerful full-length plays addressing urgent social issues—from domestic violence and youth challenges to HIV awareness and environmental protection. Our productions have reached audiences internationally, and we continue to collaborate with cultural organizations to spotlight underrepresented stories. As members of the Latinx Arts Consortium of NY and The League of Independent Theaters, we remain committed to pushing boundaries and expanding access to transformative Latino theater.
